Skillet meals are my new favorite way to serve dinner on busy nights – and this version of steak and veggie keto turns out delicious every time on my own skillet!
I made my dish special by mixing seasoned butter with chopped capers, fresh rosemary and garlic. This extra step is absolutely worth it and highly recommended!
Keto steak and vegetables in a pan with garlic and caper oil

This simple, savory meal is my favorite for weekday evenings!
For the caper oil with rosemary: :
- 1/4 cup butter fon butter fon butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp câ câ.urs in tsp.
- 1 g mashed garlic clove
To cook the dish in a pan:
- 2 pounds sirloin steak (about 1 inch thick)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- About 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 large head of fresh broccoli cut into florets
- 1 pound asparagus
In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the herb oil.
Use plastic wrap to form a tube with the butter and place in the fridge or freezer to harden.
Pat the steaks dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Brush the vegetables with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Place a large rimmed baking sheet in the oven.
Carefully remove the baking sheet with the HOT tray from the oven.
Coat the pan with olive oil where you want to place the steaks and arrange them towards the center. Arrange the vegetables on the edges.
Place under the grill for 5 minutes.
Remove steak from pan, turn over and place under grill for about 5 more minutes until desired doneness is achieved.
Just before serving, sprinkle the steaks with the rosemary and cape oil.

Thigh tip: If you preheat the pan in the oven first, the steaks will be well cooked on the outside. You can also roast them quickly on the stove.
This is one of the best meals we have ever cooked in a pan!
