- Place the chicken in a dish and cut it into pieces.
- Mix with your hands 2 teaspoons cumin, 2 teaspoons turmeric, 1 teaspoon coriander, 1 teaspoon garam masala, and a sprinkle of salt. Make sure the meat is well coated. Remove it from the equation.
- The white onion should be cut into chunks, the tomato should be cut into medium-sized pieces, and the serrano pepper should be quartered.
- Add a tablespoon of ghee to a pan and heat over medium-high heat. Cook until the chicken is tender. When the food is done, remove it from the pan.
- When the chicken is removed, scrape the pan and add another tablespoon of ghee. Cook for 1 to 3 minutes, until the garlic and onion are softened.
- Cook for 1 to 3 minutes after adding the tomatoes and peppers.
- Turmeric, ginger, cumin, and salt are the remaining spices. To mix, stir everything together.
- Increase the heat and decrease the volume for a few minutes after adding the water. Add the chicken and simmer for another 3-5 minutes once the sauce has thickened somewhat.
- Remove from the fire, season with cilantro to taste, and serve!
